DALLAS--()--Baron and Budd is being recognized by legal publication Texas Lawyer for achieving the top two 2011 product liability verdicts in Texas. Baron and Budd attorney John Langdoc headed trial efforts in both verdicts, which were achieved on behalf of Texas mesothelioma patients and their families. Henderson v. Dow Chemical was selected as the number one Texas product liability verdict in 2011. This mesothelioma lawsuit was filed on behalf of Mr. Henderson, deceased, his wife and two daughters. The jury awarded the Hendersons $9 million in the case. Attorneys John Langdoc and Alana Kalantzakis represented the family at trial.
Gensler v. Hercules, Inc. was selected as the second highest Texas product liability verdict in 2011 and is believed to be the first asbestos cancer verdict reached against Hercules for asbestos exposure at Dow Chemical. The mesothelioma lawsuit was brought on behalf of the late Mr. Gensler and his widow. The jury awarded Mr. Gensler $8.4 million. Attorneys John Langdoc and Alana Kalantzakis represented the family at trial.
